Holiday treat pick: Oreo Truffles
Not only are these fun to eat, but they are way fun to make too! My favorite part is embellishing the tops of the truffles with white chocolate.
1 package of regular Oreos
1 package of cream cheese
1 package each of chocolate and white almond bark
Smash Oreos finely. Put cream cheese in Oreo mix and blend together. Using a mini ice cream scoop, mold into balls and place on wax paper. Put in freezer for about an hour. While waiting, chop up chocolate bark and melt in saucepan, chop up white bark and melt in separate saucepan. Put toothpicks in Oreo balls and dip into chocolate bark. Let dry, then use a ziplock bag with small hole cut in the corner with melted white chocolate to decorate.
Holiday fashion pick: Sequins
A great way to add a little sparkle to your holiday outfit without overdoing it. I love sequins on a bag, a tank top layered with a cardigan, or on some cute flats.
Holiday movie pick: “Elf”
This movie has a great message and tons of laughs. I always end up watching it twice or more over the holidays.

Holiday decoration pick: Owls
Adding a few owls to your holiday decorations like I did this year (Rod Works and Pier 1 have some cute ones) is a great way to change things up from the usual Santas and snowmen.

Holiday scent pick: Glade’s “Holiday Baking”
To make your house smell like Christmas cookies all season, try this scent. Glade sells it in room sprays, candles, and scented oil (which I like best).

Holiday gift pick: “Candy by the Decade” from Red Envelope
This is a gift pack of over 60 pieces of candy from the 50′s to the 80′s, with everything from Neccos to wax lips to licorice sticks to bubble tape. I think this bit of nostalgia is definitely worth the $29.95.
