Parents of 2nd Graders Host Literacy Night
The second grade teachers at Santaquin Elementary School invited parents to come back to school to learn how they can help their students at home. The students were also invited to attend. Comprehension, vocabulary and word work strategies were shared. Parents also had the opportunity to work with their students on the computers creating their own stories. Parents and students went home with books, hands-on manipulatives and activities. Thanks to the parents and teachers who made this night a success.
